Sahar Al Aufi has been creating youthful yet sophisticated designs for over 20 years. Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, she began her design career in 1998 and has since been the founder of the brands Sahar Al Aufi and Melis, as well as the co-founder of Weddings from Italy with her business partner Giuliano Rubini.

Al Aufi’s designs are uniquely modern and elegant yet play off of traditional and cultural styles. Her looks feature the highest quality fabrics adorned with rich embroidery, intricate beadwork, and dainty embellishments. She inspires those who have a passion for fashion and encourages all women to be creative with their style. With the belief that “love is all we need,” she finds inspiration from love and channels it into her work.

Melis By Sahar Al Aufi retails and distributes Italian/Omani manufactured clothing. The company’s manufacturing standards revolve around a keen attention to details, a continuous research and employment of exclusive materials, and the use of ancient tailoring crafting techniques. 

Melis BY Sahar Al Aufi collection includes wedding gowns, stylish bridesmaid dresses, elegant mother of the bride occasion attires, stunning prom apparel, and evening, pageant and cocktail dresses, suits, shirts, pants, tuxedos, sport jackets, and overcoats. 

Our company specializes also in the creation of custom made Suits and wedding gowns. Our top lines are strictly Made in Italy & Made in Oman
